The Heart Sutra is a Mahayana Buddhism text, and one of the most popular and important Buddhist texts of Buddhism. Its name "Sutra of the Heart" refers to the most important part of the Sutras of the Prajap-gramit, a set of texts whose main theme is the attainment and perfection of wisdom (also called Perfect Wisdom, Transcendental Knowledge, or Transcendent Wisdom, Praja).
