Description

Original and traditional, this simple shaped peak has a base in gilded bronze and is elaborated according to the method of cloisonne, which is a technique of making jewelry (also called enamel decoration or enameling). The head of the hair peak which is the part made of cloisonne, is composed of different beads and stones such as white jade, fromamazonite of Peru, of cultured pearls (freshwater), andvermeil blue and red enamel. The peak is also decorated with a white mother-of-pearl flower.
This hair pick from China adopts a traditional style dating back to the Ming and Qing dynasty, and is handcrafted using the Chinese cloisonne technique by artisans in China.
