The Heart Sūtra is a Mahāyāna Buddhist text, and is one of the most popular and important Buddhist texts in Buddhism. His name "Sutra of the Heart" refers to the most important part of the Sūtras of Prajñāpāramitā, which is a set of texts whose main theme is the attainment and perfection of wisdom (also called Perfect Wisdom, Transcendent Knowledge, or Transcendent Wisdom, Prajñā).
